REALTOR FAQ
HOW MUCH NOTICE DO YOU NEED TO SCHEDULE?
On average, around 3 days or so. With that said, exceptions may occur. For example, properties located further away and Spring & Summer (busier times) are instances that may require more advanced notice. In general, it’s best to reach out and place a booking inquiry as soon as it is known that a property will be photo-ready.
~
HOW LONG WILL THE SESSION TAKE?
This depends greatly on the size of the home and consideration of any special instructions given. However, most homes under 4000 sqft should only take an hour or less to complete. Home prep also contributes significantly. Please ensure that all cleaning, staging, and moving of items is completed prior to your appointment time.
~
DOES THE REALTOR OR HOMEOWNER NEED TO BE THERE FOR PHOTOS?
Nope! I have Sentrilock access in the state of Ohio. I am very comfortable completing solo photo sessions and always leave a home as it was upon arrival. I understand that time is precious in this business, so there’s no need to feel as if you must be present for photos. Simply detail any special instructions when placing a booking request and we’ll take care of the rest!
~
DO YOU HAVE ACCESS TO ELECTRONIC LOCK BOXES?
Yes! We have access to Sentrilock in Ohio.
~
HOW SOON WILL PHOTOS BE DELIVERED?
Photos are delivered digitally on the day following the shoot. In certain instances, when volume is higher, I may request an additional day to complete the editing if it might work with your projected timeline, but this is always discussed prior to close of business on the day of the shoot.
~
HOW WILL PHOTOS BE DELIVERED?
You will receive a download link that will be included in the same email as your invoice. The link will load a Google Drive folder where you may download images individually or all at once into a .zip file. More familiar with Dropbox? No problem, I can link you to a Dropbox folder instead!
~
CAN YOU JUST ‘PHOTOSHOP’ THAT OUT?
Trampolines, broken-down cars, hoses, etc. Depending on the size and intricacy of the item(s) in question, digital alteration and item removal is addressed on a case-by-case basis. The minimum fee to ‘Photoshop’ is $20. From there, it just depends on the complexity of the request. Any greater cost will be approved prior to completing the work. It’s best to just communicate the importance of preparation to your clients and have any staging or final adjustments completed prior to the appointment time. This ensures session efficiency and avoids rushing/scrambling which often leads to overlooked items.
~
HOW CAN I PAY FOR THE SESSION?
We accept check, credit card, or you may also remit payment via your checking account. The invoice will contain a link to guide you through each option. Please make checks payable to Justin Sheldon Photography.

I OWN THE PHOTOS BECAUSE I’M PAYING FOR THEM, RIGHT?
As is standard practice in the photography industry, the photographer retains indefinite ownership of all images. Once the delivered photos are paid in full, however, you have full rights and privileges to use the images to market your homes however you’d like! This includes everything but distributing copies of the photos or granting access to third party entities. Check out the Terms of Usage at the bottom of this page for details.
~
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
All appointments will continue as scheduled unless the agent requests to reschedule. Inclement weather does not affect the ability to complete interior photos, but if it’s actively raining it will likely show up in the image. You may choose to reschedule exteriors only, or the entire shoot. Rescheduling requests will be fulfilled at the earliest date possible, once weather permits. There will is no cancellation fee for rescheduling for a later date with Cincy Visuals.
